"Summer's Heat"
Prospectus and Submission Form
It
is the second Annual Erotic art show called "Summer's
Heat" in Everett. The dates of the art show are Saturday August 8th and
Sunday August 9th. The venue will be hosted in a gallery setting and showcase
new and emerging northwest Artisans who would like to express their creativity
in a sexual and sensual way. All forms will be considered. Please reply to add
with sample jpegs of your work and I will send you a prospectus for entry. The
entry fee is low at ten dollars for five piece submission and only a 20% is
taken if your art work is sold. {This covers the cost of refreshments and
advertising.} There is no fee to send me samples of your work to be considered
for entry. I usually get a lot of photographers so I am selective on each
category and what I will let be showcased so the venue is not inundated with
only one category.
Last year’s show was a huge success and very welcomed by community. I hope to
grow this venue and showcase my artists in a very positive light and network
with you into other venues and opportunities.
Please consider this an opportunity for artistic diversification and acceptance
for all groups and their right to freely express themselves in a positive
sexually artistic manner.

This show is the second annual show and first of its kind in Everett and I am pleased to be curating a show of this nature. I wanted to give novice artists a chance to explore and create this kind of art and have somewhere to display it. Unfortunately we do not have many opportunities to showcase erotic art but with education and awareness we all can provide a positive influence and get this type of art form more widely recognized and accepted.

Dates: August 8th –August 9th
Deliver
Art: To be

To
Submissions: $10 fee for up to 5 pieces. This fee will
help cover the cost of appetizers and advertising.
All
media will be accepted; all pieces must be ready to hang/display
20% commission taken on
sold works.
Opening
Party: Saturday, August 8th, 5:00 – 11:00 PM
Sunday
August 9th from 1:00 till 5:00
Art
pickup: Sunday, August 9th, an hour after the show or
to be arrange privately. If art work is not picked up in a timely manner a fee
will be charged.
Curator
will provide postcards and press release.
Artists
will be responsible for sending invitations to their own mailing lists.

However, Shana, Lowell Art Works, the building owners and tenant artists

There will be a small area
for prints or other erotic items if this is something that you are interested
in selling. The same 20% still applies. You will need to contact me with your
item information so that I may assign you a number for inventory purposes. The
show will be accepting cash and check sales only.
