“Art of the Written Word"
Prospectus
and Submission Form
Call for art which
incorporates WORDS WHETHER VISUAL OR VERBAL.
Paintings,
drawings, typing, hand made books, posters,
calligraphy and poetry or short story readings.
If you have incorporated lettering into your art it will be considered!
Opening
night will incorporate live performance readings: please bring poetry or short
stories of your own authorship.
The
reading sign ups will begin at 4pm with readings
beginning at 6pm.
Show
Dates: July 18 – August 2, 2009
Deliver
Art: Tuesday, July 14, 4-9 PM, or by appointment to
Submissions:
$15 fee for up to 3 pieces
All pieces must be ready to
hang/display
25% commission
taken on sold works.

Opening Reception: Saturday,
July 18th, 4-9 PM
Gallery hours for
show:
Saturdays 1-5 PM, Sundays 1-4PM
Art pickup: Tuesday, August 4,
4-9 PM
Please note: Due to space limitations, all
artwork must be picked up on this date. If you can't pick up then, please
call me to make other arrangements. Otherwise, all other artwork left
after this date will be subject to a $3/day storage fee.
LAW will
provide e-mail postcard and press release distribution/advertising.
Artists
responsible for sending e-mail postcard to their own e-mail lists.
